I am working to get my direct field maps with corresponding magnitude files into BIDS compliant format. From a GE scanner, we have Case 3 for the field maps except the magnitude files are not conventional. The magnitude files are split into 2 files, one for fat tissue and one for water according to the IDEAL application for fast spin-echo imaging. (Reeder et al., 2005)
I have not found any other posts related to this yet. Has anyone worked with making these BIDS compliant? I have thought about designating the water magnitude image as the conventional magnitude image to accompany the direct B0 field map. This is not entirely accurate though.
