Hi everybody,
Next year we’ll get a new MRI system (Siemens VIDA, VX20) that will be equiped with the Siemens Innovision “Patient entertainment” display and audio. Seems to be on the market for a year now, but so far no one seems to know exactly how this is implemented, and wether it might be usable for visual/auditory stimulus presentation in fMRI context.
Has anybody got experience with that system? Can you feed in your own video stream and audio signals with low latency, or is is a closed system? And even if external streams work: can you recommend it for fMRI research with a clean conscience?
Thank you guys!
Best,
Thomas
