Hi,
At first sight, what looks different is the display of the carpet plot and the correlation matrix between matrices, mostly due to different ordering of their elements (order of voxels or order of confounds).
This discussion has some elements than are interesting about this topic:
These are the outputs (surface reconstruction) of FMRIPREP run twice on the same data (sub-001 and sub-150).
[fmriprep_sub001_sub150]
The results are almost same but little bit different for each other.
These are the outputs (MNI_LM) of ciftify-toolbox run twice on the same two data separately (sub-001 twice and sub-150 twice).
Result of sub-001
[sub001_ciftify_toolbox]
Results of sub-150
[sub150_ciftify_toolbox]
The results are also little bit different but almost same for each othe…

Hello everyone,
We were recently trying to reproduce an analysis, beginning by re-preprocessing all of the subjects. We assumed that we’d be able to reproduce our results identically, but it seems to be the case that some of the confounds that fmriprep outputs are not identical. Of course, they are incredibly close and perhaps we are wrong to assume that we’d be able to get identical results when reproducing our analyses. In any case, I think we have pinpointed the potential problem with the cr…
