I had some statistical maps (nii files, or Niimg-like object) I’ve saved only as html files and lost their nii format (actually- I’ve generated those maps in memory and saved them only as htmls).
Do you know of any way to regenerate nii files or niiimg like objects from the html files generated by the by save_as_html?

There is currently no such tool that I know of.
It is possible to do though: the sprite can be converted back to a 3D volume, and the key header info is contained in the html (volumes are resampled to isotropic resolution with no cosines transform).
But it’s not something I have done (or planning to do in the near future), or that I have seen done.
