Hi,
I’m Madhuri and I study stress granules in Prof. VijayRaghavan lab at NCBS, India. I have a Master’s in molecular biology and genetics. I consider myself to be a behavioural neuroscience enthusiast and I hope this learning will help establish a computational foundation to pursue my passion for neuroscience research.
I’m a clinical psychologist and postdoctoral researcher at Dartmouth College. I study emotion regulation, pain, placebo, and somatotopic processing via fMRI. Looking forward to meeting you all!
I’m Sadiq, I am currently applying to PhD positions hopefully at the intersection of machine learning and neural engineering/computational neuroscience. I have a masters in biomedical engineering from University of Ibadan.
Its a pleasure to be here and looking forward to learning with all of you!
Hi everyone …
My name is Obada Al Zoubi, I’m currently a postdoc at the Laureate Institute for Brain Research. My research focuses on building simultaneous EEG-fMRI pipelines and interpreting the results using computational and machine learning methods using Python, R and MATLAB. I’m also working on predictions on mental illnesses from the EEG-fMRI data.
Looking forward to learning more here!

Hi everyone!
My name is Zofia Piętka-Danilewicz and I’m from Poland. I’m at my very beginning because I’ve just finished first year of Cognitive Science bachelor studies. My interest is strongly bounded with analyzing functional connectivity-based data and making up functional networks between different brain regions but also I’m looking forward to extending my knowledge in other fields of computational neuroscience.
My name is Aritra Chakraborty and I am a Zoology undergrad from the University of Delhi, India. I have always been inclined to explore Neuroscience, but its computational aspect is one of my recent interests. Hence, I am looking forward to embracing new ideas and knowledge, and, hopefully, to contribute to some ideas as well.
I’m Sidong Wang, a PHD student at Beijing Normal University. I am interested in decision-making, reinforcement learning and neuroscience, working mostly on behavioral and fMRI data, and currently tring to use the tool of computational neuroscience to reveal more knowledge in these topics.
Looking forward to meeting and learning from you all!
My name is Thomas Botch and I am a lab manager at Dartmouth College. I study naturalistic scene exploration and visual attention using virtual reality, eye-tracking, and deep learning.
I’m looking forward to learning together with you all!
Hi there.
I’m Saeed Rajabi
I’m studying at Electrical Engineering
I’m interested in neuroscience researches , ML and python programming and AI.
Hope to meet someone who has same interests or related ones.
Hi, I’m Ayodeji from Nigeria. I’m an anatomist by profession and a neurobiologist/neuroscientist by research specialty. My research interests are neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases. My masters work focused on evaluating the consequences of prenatal alcohol exposure on some cortical cells at different gestational timeline. Im currently seeking a PhD position as a have great passion for neuroscience. I’m open to gaining additional skills, one of which is machine learning. This I hope will be able to add to my knowledge in this field.
Hi everyone!
My name is Keivan Razban Haghighi, I am a PhD student in the University of Sheffield.
I work on moniotoring and modelling the visual system of the Drosophila’s brain.
My background is maths, computer science and physics.
I’m a fan of artificial neural networks, and I’m here because the goal of my life is … understanding what life is.
Looking forward for tomorrow! See you
Hi! I am Hülya, and I am a Cognitive Neuroscience MSc. student from University of Trento, Italy. I am interested in neurolinguistics - special interests revolving around speech, bilingualism/multilingualism, code-switching and EEG. I am currently doing research on Basque-Spanish bilingualism.
More personally- I am from Turkey and I am a cat and language-learning (hard to guess, eh? :p) enthusiast. Looking forward to tomorrow and meeting you all! Feel free to contact if we share research interests or if you’d like to learn things together during the NMA!
