Hi everyone,

My name is Mohamed Awad. I’m a fourth-year computer science student at CUNY Queens College. My recent experience is doing ML research for my fellowship, where I analyze thousands of images to classify signs of skin cancer. I also love working out, and I dedicate at least 45 minutes a day to some form of cardio. My question is: I recently responded to my mentor about the project I’m interested in doing. When will I hear back?

Looking forward to hearing you guys.

Hello everyone!

My name is Perfect Okeme. I’m excited to join this community! I’m a final year Mechatronics Engineering student at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria. I have a strong interest in robotics, software development, and computational applications in neuroscience. I’m particularly fascinated by how AI and data-driven approaches can enhance our understanding of the brain. Looking forward to learning, collaborating, and engaging with you all!

I’m Kavyansh Tyagi, a passionate and curious computer engineering student with a strong focus on AI, robotics, and cutting-edge research. As a second-year undergraduate researcher, I’ve had the opportunity to be the first author on several papers published in Springer and Elsevier journals, primarily in the fields of computer vision and NLP. I’m actively working towards pursuing a PhD right after my B.Tech, and I’m especially interested in deep learning, dynamic graph neural networks, and static analysis for cybersecurity. I’m continuously learning and building to turn my visions into reality.

Hello! My name is Sebastian Ruiz, I am very, very, new here.
I am an undergraduate student majoring in Statistics at Florida State University. I previously interned at Carnegie Mellon and will intern at Brown this summer (both in the field of computational neuroscience).

I recently started forming an undergraduate-focused student organization called CompNeuroSociety and we’re looking for support. So, if you’re interested, check us out! (We’re trying to come up with introductory projects related to Neural Computation or Cognitive Modeling suitable for undergraduates, feel free to reach out with any ideas  !)

Hi everyone!

My name is Renqing Cuomao, and I’m currently a second-year Master’s student in Computer Science at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Switzerland.

I am passionate about machine learning, natural language processing and large language models, and my recent work has focused on multilingual pretraining data quality enhancement for LLMs, multilingual document retrieval and recommender systems, textual coherence classification, and developing LLM-powered chatbot to assist EPFL STEM students, combining retrieval-based methods with dialogue design to support learning. I’m very interested in bridging ML with real-world applications in neuroscience, health, and scientific knowledge sharing.

As someone originally from Tibet, I’m committed to inclusive and globally accessible AI. I enjoy working with multilingual data and building systems that make scientific knowledge more accessible across cultures.

I’m excited to be part of the INCF community — not just to contribute code, but to learn, collaborate, and build impactful tools together.

Looking forward to connecting with you all! :seedling:

Hi everyone,
I’m Priyanka Gautam, a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Kansas State University. My research broadly focuses on machine learning and graph-based models for dynamic networks, including social networks, heterogeneous graphs, and recently, hypergraphs for influence maximization. I’m particularly interested in building scalable graph neural network (GNN) frameworks and exploring their applications in biology and neuroscience. I’m excited to be part of this discussion and look forward to learning from the community and contributing to interdisciplinary conversations. I am interested in the Project 4 DevoGraph, do we have any separate discussion for this.

Hi , I am Vishwajeet

I am Vishwajeet Londhe, I am from Latur, Maharashtra.I have completed my whole education till Bachelor’s degree from Latur.

Along with my work experience, I am pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science at PES Modern College of Engineering, Pune, where I expect to graduate in June 2026. I have a strong passion for web development and AIML

My hobbies are reading books, listening to music, trekking, swimming, paragliding, helping people, and doing social work. I am a quick learner and believe in learning from my past mistakes and experiences and becoming stronger from them.

Hi everyone,

I’m Shin, a 3x founder looking to build her next neurotech company. I’m passionate about mental health and how we address it within our current health systems in North America. I’m looking to connect with potential individuals who would like to build a company together. If you have experience within neuronetworks, EEG, fMRI, neurofeedback, or TMS, I would like to chat with you about the opportunity. I have a few hypotheses and areas that we can explore, and I’m curious to hear from you.

I’m incredibly interested in the work we do in neuroscience. While I’m from an arts and business background, I believe anyone can learn anything they want to. My current interests include:

  1. Depression and anxiety
  2. C-PTSD impacts on brain health
  3. Learning and memory
  4. OCD and ADHD
  5. Meditation
  6. Vision and audio sensory systems

If you are interested in understanding more about what I am building, I’d be happy to chat! If you have any advice, feedback, or concerns, or want to be an advisor, I would be incredibly honoured to get your help as well!

I’m here to learn and grow and build something impactful in this life. Hope to work and learn from you all!

Hello everyone,

I’m Minh-Huy, an undergrad student major in AI/ML in Vietnam. I’ve some experiences exploring the world of Genetic Algorithms, LLMs and CV. I decided to pursue Computational Neuroscience as a supplement for my research in NeuroAI (for now it’s Genomic Bottleneck and RL with Spiking Nets).
I’m most familiar with PyTorch and Kaggle when it came to training model, but I’m a fast learner so I’ll feel comfortable using any tool after a few tutorials.

As I progress into research, I’m always actively looking for collaborations and fellow students/ mentors to connect with, so please don’t hesitate to contact me through LinkedIn or GitHub.

I’ve also done an analysis on NeuroAI topics in this forum (crawled all the introductions and did an analysis with the help of PerplexityAI), you can see the detailed analysis here (up-to-date 21/06/2025).

It’s my pleasure to discover this forum which dedicated to Neuroscience and hope I’ll learn/ contribute a lot to the community.

Huy
