The CRCNS Research Project “Language representations in bilinguals” addresses the question of how more than one language can co-exist in the human brain. We will develop a computational framework to understand how linguistic information across different languages is represented in bilinguals. Computational encoding models in combination with deep learning-based machine learning techniques will be developed, compared, and applied to identify linguistic representations in the brain. This work is in collaboration with Klaus Obermayer at the Technical University Berlin and Jack Gallant at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at UC Berkeley. Please find further details about the positions and how to apply here. The application deadline is February 19th .
