I am trying to setup a routine for estimating head motion during fmri in our Siemens MRI scanner running XA60.
According to a few documents on the web, it seems that one needs to register the subject before setting the ideacmdtool parameter “sendIMA” to value “ON”. Then it is turned to “OFF” again when starting a new subject. In VE11C the value was kept to “ON” until shutdown of the scanner. Now on XA60, I can confirm that one needs to set the value to “ON” after registering each subject otherwise sendIMA will be set to “OFF”. This is not a step that we can instruct all users how to do.
Is there a way to set the value by default to ON or is there a way to tell a fMRI sequence to start a dos batch setting sendIMA to ON?
