Looking for a data/neuroimaging postdoc position

EDIT: I am from Lithuania (Bachelor in Biophysics and Master in Neurobiology), Neuroscience PhD will be completed under University of Copenhagen and in Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance.
I am considering opportunities in Europe, Canada and Oceania.

Dear all,
I am currently seeking postdoctoral position opportunities, starting now or in autumn of 2025 (my PhD thesis defence is confirmed for August 25th). I am mostly interested in projects related to data and/or clinical science, motor control, decision-making, or reward processing, though I am always open to discuss other topics.

My previous work mainly focused on experiment design, collection and analysis of task/rest-fMRI and behavioral data. I also have experience with fNIRS, and to some extent - EEG and TMS. I worked a lot with healthy people, but I was also very involved in multimodal clinical studies/trials (depression, Parkinson’s, pediatric OCD). My work involved data analysis pipeline development, analysis of smaller datasets, but also large scale datasets, like HCP (using it for TMS cortical target localization and optimization).

Specific expertises:

Data: task and rest fMRI (small and large scale), behavioral data, fNIRS, some EEG (interested to learn more), HCP (all run using High Performance Computing)

Tools: SPM, nilearn, fMRIPrep, CONN, Homer2, some EEGLab and MNE-Python

Programming: Python, MATLAB, bash

Statistics: R, JASP, SPSS

Statistical modeling: GLMs, connectivity, mixed models, machine learning (currently expanding the skill with PyTorch), Bayesian inference

Organization: BIDS, GitLab and Github.

Teaching: international, Master’s students, and children

Neuroscience: motor control, reward processing, emotional processing, brain networks, brain stimulation, manuscript preparation.

Some hobbies: writing fiction, application/software development, various sports, reading

Soft skills (I think so): organized, adaptable, helpful, can work alone and in a team.

If you or anyone you know has any open opportunities or would be interested in a potential collaboration, I would be very happy to hear from you. Reach out to me via: labanauskas.v@gmail.com. I can share my CV upon your request.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
Vytautas Labanauskas

Hi @Vytautas_Labanauskas, are you open to any place around the world?

Hi, @MatthieuGG. I forgot to add my location. I am from Lithuania (Bachelor in Biophysics and Master in Neurobiology), PhD will be completed under University of Copenhagen and in Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance.
I am considering opportunities in Europe, Canada and Oceania.

I will update my post

Understood. In Japan, the IRCN at The University of Tokyo (and associated lab using the facilities) are very often looking for that kind of profile.
