I have a question on how to use the motion parameters in my analysis. I did preprocessing in SPM and from realignmet I get for each participants a text file with 6 columns (x,y,z,pitch,yaw,roll) over 200 rows (timepoints). I want to do a MANCOVA from group ICA outputs and add the motion parametrs as nuisance regressors. I can only add 1 file at that stage in the GIFT toolbox, so assumingly 6 columns and rows for participants. What is the best way to get that from the motion files? Do I average over timepoints? Or is there a better way to get a meaningful single value for each column per participant? Thanks.
