Hi everyone. I am Nakshatra a 3rd yr undergraduate from IIT KGP. I am interested in INCF. I would love to work with the community here.
Hi everyone,
I’m Anany Srivastava, a B.Tech student in Computer Science and Engineering at IIIT Kota, with a deep passion for open-source development, artificial intelligence, and neuroscience. Over the years, I’ve been closely following INCF’s initiatives, and I’m eager to contribute meaningfully to the community, especially as I prepare for GSoC 2025.
I’m particularly interested in exploring how open-source technologies can drive advancements in neuroscience and related fields. While I’m reviewing ongoing projects, I’d love any advice on proposing new ideas that align with INCF’s mission and priorities. If there are guidelines, best practices, or project expectations I can dive into, I’d greatly appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Looking forward to collaborating with and learning from this incredible community. Thank you for your time, and I’m excited to make a positive impact through INCF.
@Mathew_Abrams I look forward to your guidance.

I am interested in INCF’s initiative and its effort to improve and help the society by making useful products for the people and I am eager to contribute to the community as a part of GSoC 2025
Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to actively contributing to the INCF community!
Hi Peeps! Myself Rupantar Borphukan from NIT Silchar. Currently final year undergrad student.
I actively contributed to open-source during GSSOC’23 and have built over 30+ projects across web development, blockchain, and AI. I love tackling complex problems and learning new technologies.
Excited to collaborate, contribute, and grow with this amazing community! Looking forward to connecting with you all.
@gsoc2025
is the project list for gsoc 2025 is released ?
Hey all,My name is pranay and i am a 3rd year undergraduate from CSE branch.I had hands on experience with Mern stack and looking forward to take part in gsoc 2025 and waiting for the project list @Mathew_Abrams
I’m excited to see that INCF is applying as a GSoC 2025 mentor organization. I’m Shreyansh Srivastav, a computer science student with experience in machine learning, full-stack development, and bioinformatics. I have worked on QSAR analysis for drug discovery and machine learning-based models for human activity recognition. I’m particularly interested in contributing to neuroscience-related open-source projects.
Could you please share the available communication channels (Slack, mailing lists, etc.) to engage with the community.
Looking forward to contributing!

Hi @Mathew_Abrams , I am Anshuman Das, an undergraduate student at NIT Raipur studying electronics engineering. I have been passionate about AI and machine learning for the past two years and have a strong interest in neuroscience. With a background in teaching biology and a good network among doctors, I have gained valuable insights into this field. After reading about Brian2Wasp and neural simulations, I created a small project using Brian2 to model spiking neural networks with leaky integrate-and-fire neurons. It visualizes their behavior and is open-source for feedback. I would love to connect, learn, and collaborate. GitHub Repository: Brian2 SNN Simulation. and I am very excited for GSoC 2025.
@Mathew_Abrams Could you please provide a Guide to run the Project “eeg-database” as I am working on one of its issues which includes installation setup and procedure to execute the project?
@Mathew_Abrams My name is Anushka, and I am a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a B.Tech with expertise in machine learning. Recently, I have been exploring Django and delving deeper into integrating powerful web interfaces with ML and generative AI models. I am currently building an educative tool that serves as a one-stop solution for students. Given my skill set and passion for this field, I believe I would be a great fit for INCF, and I am eager to contribute.
I have previously contributed to the GirlScript Summer of Code(GSSoC) program as well and here is the linkedIn profile: linkedin.com/in/anushka37/
