Hello @Alishba,
You can find the repository’s documentation in the main README.md
file.
Asp-irin, a tech pain reliever of some sort, interested in helping to develop the concept of Moving GeNN’s automated testing from Jenkins to GitHub actions. Before starting the project, are there any inputs from your end, such as extra points or certain caveats?
Thank you!

Hey Everyone,
I am Agrim Patil, a final-year BTech Computer Science student at VIT Vellore. I’m thrilled to be part of the INCF community and contribute to this exciting project! My interest for open-source development and building efficient, scalable solutions aligns deeply with INCF’s mission.
For this project, I aim to develop a Conda (Forge) package for GeNN, simplifying the installation process by managing dependencies effectively. With my experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and package management, I am eager to ensure that the package is well-structured, easily maintainable, and enhances accessibility for end users. I already looked into how do I start.
Few clarifications:
1. I am assuming the package should be built for all platforms (linux/mac/windows). So I am planning to start of with linux and then add on build files for the other platforms.
2. For the recipe-maintainers should I include myself or someone from the core-contributor team.
I am looking forward to collaborating with the community and learning along the way!
Hi Asp-irin,
Thank you for your interest in our project! I don’t believe Google has yet confirmed us as a mentoring organization this year so expect more details when they do but, I think the key things to think about are:

Hi Agrim,
Thank you for your interest in our project! I don’t believe Google has yet confirmed us as a mentoring organization this year so expect more details when they do but, I think the key information is:
Hope that gives you some flavour of the challenges of this project! We definitely want this package to work on Linux, Windows and Mac. I have no thoughts on recipe maintainers right now, probably something to think about when and if this project is selected.
okie cool! I will starting working on this, no matter it is selected or not. DevOps is

Hey @dprodanov
I am Deepak Bora, currently in 6th semester pursuing BTech Computer Science at Birla Institute Of Applied Sciences Bhimtal. After going through the Project descriptions which are not yet approved till now . 13. UI update for the Active Segmentation platform for ImageJ (ASP/IJ) is quite interesting, can you please provide me more details for the same before I became familiar with the codebase.
Thank you!

Hey Jamie,
Thank you for briefing me on the project and its key challenges. Although the project is yet to be confirmed, I still found it interesting to go through the points you mentioned:
Again for the the libraries and compiler to run on the end-users machine NVIDIA drivers must be installed, which can be taken care by providing an nvidia driver Installation script in the package.
Hey @bryan.caron I just has some concern regarding cbrain cli development are there any recent updates or changes to the CBRAIN API that would affect the design and implementation of the CLI! Additionally, are there specific new functionalities or improvements that should be prioritized in the CLI beyond the original project scope!
It sounds like you’re on entirely the right track - this is just the sort of research that should go into a good GSoC proposal! My own brief bit of googling suggested cudatoolkit-dev
would be the right solution but it sounds like we’ll have to think carefully about OS support.

Hello everyone,
I am Shivam Yadav a second-year electronics engineering student at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, with a strong interest in frontend development. I am excited about the HarmonyHub: Front-end interface refactoring and expansion for multi-instrument support project under INCF GSoC 2025 and am eager to contribute to it.
I have experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and I am currently expanding my knowledge in Angular and Ionic to better understand the HarmonyHub codebase. I’ve already started exploring the repository and familiarizing myself with the project’s front-end architecture
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on:
Key areas of the codebase to focus on while preparing.
Specific challenges to anticipate while improving responsiveness and expanding support for additional instruments.
I am enthusiastic about learning, collaborating with the community, and contributing meaningfully to this exciting project.
Thank you for your time and support!
Warm regards,
Shivam Yadav
Seems like we got a GREEN signal haha!
Could you please guide me with the starting things
Hi, I’m Abhinav Gupta, a 2nd year undergrad at MNIT Jaipur with experience in React, JavaScript, Next.js, and Express, plus some knowledge of 3D models and Three.js. I’m excited about the idea #33 of building visualizations for biological entities and would love to contribute to making complex data more accessible.
Is there anything specific about this project that i should know before starting like the kind of visualizations(2D or 3D) and the github repo attached with this project is just a react app so is there any roadmap or starting issues with which i can start
