I am a computer science undergrad at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
I am considering using the abide dataset to detect autism spectrum disorder for my final year project.
Do you think this is possible without having grants or funding to cater for the high computational costs?
I will appreciate your opinions.
There are sites, like brainlife.io, that offer cloud-based computational resources for neuroimaging softwares. The problem, however, would be that you would need to download the images you want to work with first, and then upload them to brainlife.io. I don’t know if ABIDE has a data use agreement that would not allow you to upload to an online repository such as brainlife (even if you do make it private). It is something to look into though.
