Hi all! I’m a masters student of Neurocognitive Psychology and am currently working with fMRI image processing via Cat12. I’m interested in statistics for the brain. Although I feel very new to it all.
I mostly work with RStudio and matlab.
I randomly stumbled on this website and so glad that I did. Because I have SO MANY questions regarding the usage of cat12.
Looking forward to hearing from you all
Hi everyone!
My name is Prashastha Mudannayake, and I’m a computer science graduate from the University of Colombo School of Computing, Sri Lanka.
I’ve got over 2 years of experience in the Fintech domain as a software engineer and a business analyst, where I got the opportunity to solve many interesting problems in the domain which I believe is transferable to the AI domain. Currently, I am looking to join a graduate program (preferably a master’s degree) where I can further my knowledge in deep reinforcement learning, computational neuroscience, agentic AI and neurosymbolic AI, which are my main areas of research interest.
I’m looking forward to contributing to INCF as well as learning from and networking with the fantastic INCF community.
Hi everyone!
I’m Harineesha Nutakki, second year Computer Science student (undergraduate) and I’m excited to join this community and connect with like-minded individuals. I have strong interest in machine learning, AI, and data science. I enjoy working on hands-on projects and have built models for Click-Through Rate (CTR) Prediction and other applications.
Beyond ML, I’m also working on projects related to social networking for students, attendance management, and AI-driven citizen services. I love diving into data structures (especially linked lists, trees, and pointers in C) and constantly challenge myself with new problems.
I’m always open to discussions about ML model optimization, deployment strategies (Docker, Flask, Streamlit), or anything related to AI research. If anyone has recommendations for improving model efficiency or scaling ML applications, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Looking forward to learning and contributing here.
Hey everyone,
I’m Wulin Teo, a neuroscience researcher working with spectral imaging and machine learning. I recently discovered DANDI and wanted to explore how I can use it for my work—and potentially share my own spectral imaging datasets with the community.
My research focuses on neuroimaging in both the CNS and PNS of mouse models, studying spectral shifts in myelin using solvatochromic dyes. I’ve also worked with human brain tissue from multiple sclerosis, applying spectral microscopy to investigate biochemical changes in myelin*. I use machine learning for image segmentation and feature extraction, and I’m interested in seeing how DANDI’s datasets could complement or enhance these studies.
At the same time, I’d love to contribute my own spectral imaging datasets to DANDI, making them accessible for others working on myelin, neurodegeneration, and spectral imaging-based neuroanalysis. If anyone has experience with DANDI, NWB format, or best practices for structuring and sharing neuroimaging datasets, I’d really appreciate your insights. Looking forward to learning, collaborating, and sharing my data with this community!
Cheers,
Wulin

Hey all,
I am very grateful for the invitation to join your innovative project.
I’m a neuroethics enthusiast from Russia. The #1 reason I want to become an a part of this community is the topic of harmonious development of technologies based on the fruits of AI.
In an effort to understand the current stage of development of this technology and its perception by society and the government, I attended a lot of online events (including extremely enriching ACM Talks webinars), read dozens of articles in the professional and business press, studied AI regulation issues in the EU, US, and UN.
However, I do not see or feel that this collective search has harmonized the views on AI development expressed by inventors, representatives of the business community, IT specialists, and current and future users of AI products.
As a future IT professional, I would like to see less confrontation and more solidarity regarding the global technological breakthrough. As an accomplished legal professional, I see that now is an important moment to move from honing the principles of working with AI to formulating and implementing (somewhat proactively) specific mechanisms for the implementation of AI products, as well as establishing fair and responsible regulation of their social and legal consequences.
In the context of the above, let me offer for consideration an opinion on two topics:
• Hybrid people — determination of the status of persons who have undergone medical intervention using AI toolkit - Hybrid people — determination of the status of persons who have undergone medical intervention using AI toolkit / Habr
• Regulation of computing power, joint insurance of AI products, and protection of hybrid people - Regulation of computing power, joint insurance of AI products, and protection of hybrid people / Habr
If the views and proposals I have outlined find a response and understanding in you, you are free to use them. Thank you for the opportunity to speak out and share with you my vision of the regulatory aspects of the development of human-centric AI.
Hi everyone, time for self short introduction!
